During that time I have photographed hundreds of weddings, high school seniors, families and babies. It never gets dull. People are always in a good mood at weddings. Seniors love dressing up. Babies can get fussy and yes, sometimes folks are nervous about getting their pictures taken. But that's where the art of the photographer has to take over. It's their job to put everyone at ease and make the session an experience that everyone will enjoy and remember fondly. It will show in the final images.
Before I retired I was a full time member of the Professional Photographers of America with a degree as Certified Professional Photographer. I was an Active Member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association and regularly assisted the Featured Instructor in one of the 30 week long classes at the annual Texas School of Professional Photography. While in Arlington I served as Secretary of the Metroplex Professional Photographers and in Waco I was President of the Heart of Texas Professional Photographers Guild.
Photography, as well as serving the Photographic Community is in my blood.
While I no longer have a full time studio, I am available for contract work, second shooter at weddings, real estate photography and events.
