Over the years, I've had the honor of photographing hundreds of weddings, high school seniors, families, and newborns. It never gets old—there’s something truly special about capturing people in moments of joy. Weddings are filled with love and celebration, seniors bring style and excitement, and while babies can be unpredictable, each session is a unique experience. Sure, sometimes clients feel a little nervous in front of the camera, but that’s where the true art of the photographer comes in—creating an environment that puts everyone at ease and turns a photo session into a cherished memory. And when that happens, it shines through in the final images.
Before retiring from full-time photography, I earned the title of Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America. I was also an active member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association, where I regularly assisted the Featured Instructor during one of the 30 sessions of week long classes at the annual Texas School of Professional Photography. My commitment to the photographic community extended to leadership roles as well—I served as Secretary of the Metroplex Professional Photographers in Arlington, and later as President of the Heart of Texas Professional Photographers Guild in Waco.
Photography—and supporting the community that surrounds it—is in my blood.
Though I no longer run a full-time studio, I remain available for contract work including second shooting at weddings, real estate photography, and event coverage. If you’re looking for someone with experience, a steady hand, and a passion for people—I’d love to work with you.
